Course Structure
Each course has 25 topics designed to teach skills needed
for preparing for an English exam.
Each topic takes up to an hour to complete including the
live lesson.
Each topic includes:
- Vocabulary
- Listening
- Reading
- Grammar
- Writing
Each topic has 1 Live lesson (speaking and fluency) activity
designed to be completed with the tutor.
Writing feedback is to be included in the live lesson
Methodology
Flipped Classroom: demonstrated to expedite the learning process, resulting
in higher levels of student engagement. The main idea is that learners consume
content digitally prior to their lesson introducing them to key learning points
and then they continue working with the material during class with the focus on
increased language production which leads to higher levels of fluency.
Blended: Singular overarching learning objective for self-study and live lessons
for a truly blended learning experience.
Communicative: Language learning is learning to communicate using the
target language and it’s important to ensure that the language used to
communicate is appropriate to the situation, the roles of the speakers, the
setting and the register.
CEFR aligned: Focused on the skills and competences laid out by the Common
European Framework of Reference for languages to ensure progress through
levels.
